A tree takedown is a difficult project, and we hope you have taken the time to hire an excellent company for the job. Before the professionals show up, we recommend preparing the area surrounding your tree as best you can. Here are several steps that we highly recommend taking before your tree takedown day.

Three Steps to Take Before Your Professional Tree Takedown

  1. Yard Prep – Ideally you will want a cleared space surrounding the tree with a radius of twice the height of the tree. However, we also realize that this isn’t always possible. In the case you don’t have that much room, we recommend clearing out as much space as possible.
  2. Animals & Kids – Animals and kids should be nowhere near a tree takedown. To ensure everyone’s safety, we recommend that kids and pets stay inside the house.
  3. Cleanup Prep – After your tree takedown, there will be a lot of clean-up to do. Now is the best time to prepare for that cleanup. If you have hired the tree company to handle the clean-up, then you are ready to go. If you have not hired them to do the clean-up, then you will want to be prepared for the mess that accompanies a tree takedown by renting a dumpster to get rid of the debris and making arrangements to dispose of it.

These three steps will help to make your tree takedown experience smoother and simpler. Give us a call at Miller Tree Service to discuss your many options.
