Miller Tree Service does exceptional work! The employees at the jobsite know what job they are delegated and responsible for. The supervisor was communicating with the man in the bucket the entire time. The guy doing the actual work in the bucket truck knew exactly what he was doing!!! I have been extremely impressed with their level of skills, professionalism, integrity, and fairness. The most recent project involved the removal of four tall oak trees. Two of the trees were completely dead, and one of the dead trees was very close to both houses. This was a challenging project that required proper equipment and skilled workers. Jake and his dedicated crew, using a grapple saw crane and Bobcats, worked together like a well-oiled machine to secure, saw, lower, and haul the tree and its large branches in a safe, efficient manner. Josh and Brad, the estimators, have always provided prompt, detailed, and straightforward price quotes that are extremely reasonable, competitive, and fair. Also, they have fit me into their busy schedule quickly. Once my job was scheduled, they sent me email updates to inform me who was on my work crew and when they would arrive. They delivered on everything that they promised, which is very rare these days! While it is never fun to be in need of a tree removal company, each project with Miller Tree Service has been a pleasant experience. Miller Tree Service did a superb job! I had them cut 6 trees in my yard. Two of the trees were huge! They were thoroughly professional during the entire process. They arrived at the time promised, the foreman, Daniel, walked me through the entire process before they began, and they went to work. They were very careful not to mar the yard any more than absolutely necessary, and they were extremely careful as they trimmed and dropped the trees. They even moved one of my wife’s rose bushes and put it back when they were finished. They left the yard in immaculate condition. You could barely tell they were even there! If I ever should need more tree work done, I will definitely call Daniel and his team at Miller Tree Service. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing any type of tree work done. Their crew showed up on time as promised. They were very efficient and did exactly what I needed. One large maple tree needed thinning, shaping, and cutting away from my roof. They worked as a team and did a beautiful job. This is definitely not a couple of guys with a chainsaw and a truck. These are arborists. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Miller Tree Service is THE BEST! They are prompt, reasonably priced, and provide an amazing service experience. We have used them to remove a HUGE willow oak and to prune willow birches. Both times, there was no damage, and the surrounding yard was left looking better than before.
Miller Tree Service has cut trees down for me in the past. Jake and his crew did the work, and you would’ve never known they were there, because they took all of the mess with them when they left. Today, Daniel came out to look at a couple of trees my next door neighbor and myself were concerned about. My neighbor was convinced they would want to cut down the trees in question. I flat told her Miller Tree Service would give us an honest opinion on what to do. I was right. Daniel said all the trees in question were healthy, and he would not cut them. He did suggest we cut the Ivy growing up on a couple of them. You can trust this company. I gave them a 5-star rating, if the scale was 10, I would have given them a 10. The bottom line, all the people at Miller Tree Service are first class in every respect.

Daniel with Miller Tree Service came to my house to do a small job of trimming a river birch that was hanging over my house. Said he would be here at 8:30 and showed up at that time as he said he would. In this day of people not returning phone calls and not showing up when they say, he shows how to run a business the way it should be done. Excellent, efficient work by their crew! Of all the other local tree removal services I spoke with, Miller Tree Service was the best equipped to remove the enormous tree that had unfortunately fallen onto my house. They got everything done in about four hours, which was impressive considering the amount that needed to be done. And while my swing set was accidentally damaged, they did an outstanding job rebuilding it, even stronger than before! I wasn’t expecting them to be such good on-the-fly carpenters, too! I was very satisfied with the outcome. I highly recommend Miller Tree Service!

Miller Tree Service is a grade above all others. When they come out to look at a job, the advice given on the health of the trees is invaluable. Employees do whatever the job requires and is agreed upon. They work very hard and fast while observing safety first. It was a real pleasure to meet these guys and to witness their work ethic. If a communication issue arises, just talk to them and work out a solution sooner than later. They work to satisfy their customers. The whole process from first call, timely visit for estimate, setting up time to come, and getting work done was very professional with attention to detail. The crew arrived on time with several pieces of equipment. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and took many safety measures. When they were finished, every twig was raked, picked up and carted off. They were careful with my lawn and have equipment that didn’t make ruts. I would definitely recommend them and will call them myself as needed.

Miller Tree Service from Advance did some terrific tree work for us today! It took some time for them to schedule us due to the recent storms, but when they got here, they worked really hard. We had two very large oak trees removed from our property. They were very large trees – 4 and 5 feet in diameter. One of them was not very accessible, having an old stone bench and live tree on one side, branches over our house, and power lines on the other side. Miller Tree Company came out to our house with 3 large vehicles. I was so impressed watching them bring down that tree limb by limb, and then, it was gone. The other tree was already dead and when they dropped it, it disintegrated into a huge mess. They loaded up all they could fit on the trucks and hauled it off. But where I was most impressed was with the clean-up. There were four guys, including the owner of the company, working in our yard with rakes. They left the yard way cleaner than I expected after having used a different tree company in the past. Nice, friendly guys, who worked hard, had those huge trees down, and the yard cleaned in 3 hours. I would highly recommend this company for any tree work you may need done!

OUTSTANDING! We did not know what to expect when we learned the grapple truck was going to remove our 75′ sugar maple – WOW! From the moment the five-man crew arrived until the time they left, approximate 1.5 hours(!), their precision, knowledge, professionalism, friendliness, and expertise were outstanding. Miller Tree Service went above and beyond, and we highly recommend them!
Miller Tree Service is great. They were efficient and safe. They removed a dying and leaning 100+ foot oak tree from our front yard in Ardmore. They had to work around multiple power lines and houses. They were reasonably priced even though it was a big job. The Grappler Saw crane made the job look easy. Much better than using climbers and ropes for the branches.
Miller Tree Service was able to carefully remove very large trees that were incredibly close to our house and overgrown over the home. They were the only tree service who was confident and actually able to do this complicated job. We’ll be able to save this lumber to use in our home thanks to Miller Tree Service and Plank Road Millworks. Miller Tree Service is a great company. From the time of the estimator to the final yard clean up, everything was absolutely meticulous! Our huge 60-year-old willow oak trees were growing over our house and our neighbors and desperately need trimming. We had been told by several companies that it would have to have a climber because there was no way to get a lift into our back yard. Miller Tree Service used climbers and a lift and did a fabulous job. They not only did it in about a half day but were so great about cleaning up every little branch and being careful to put plywood down on the pathway, so it didn’t mess up the lawn. Neighbors down the street had a company that messed up their yard, tore down their mailbox, left branches everywhere. We would highly recommend this company!

We have had some difficult trees to get to, and they clean up so well you can hardly tell they’ve been here. What I appreciate most, though, is their honesty. We’ve had a large, dying tree that’s been in need of attention as we’ve been concerned about the safety of our dogs, fence, and house if it came down on its own. The Miller Tree Service crew was across the street today working in a neighbor’s yard, so I called to see if I could get them to at least assess the tree while they were here today. Rick told me absolutely, go over to the team and ask for Jake and they’d take care of it. Jake came over and assessed it right then and within 2 hours, the tree is down and no longer a safety hazard! Not only did they work like a Swiss watch at the neighbor’s all day in this NC July heat and humidity, but everyone I spoke with was professional, personable, super pleasant, and a pleasure to work with! They took down MANY trees at the neighbor’s and had no less than 8-10 trucks here all day. They just left and the street is clean, and the neighbor’s yard looks amazing! So, absolutely, YES, I’d recommend Miller Tree Service for all things tree-related! I am very grateful for the peace of mind having that tree down and going back to Mother Nature.
