Excellent efficient work by their crew! Of all the other local tree removal services I spoke with, Miller Tree Service was the best equipped to remove the enormous tree that had unfortunately fallen onto my house. They got everything done in about four hours, which was impressive considering the amount that needed done. And while my swingset was accidentally damaged, they did an outstanding job rebuilding it, even stronger than before! I wasn't expecting them to be such good on-the-fly carpenters too! Miller Tree is a great company. From the time of the estimator to the final yard clean up, everything was absolutely meticulous! Our huge 60 year old Willow Oak trees were growing over our house and our neighbors and desperately need trimming. We had been told by several companies that it would have to have a climber because there was no way to get a lift into our back yard. Miller used climbers and a lift and did a fabulous job. They not only did it in about a half day but were so great about cleaning up every little branch and being careful to put plywood down on the pathway so it didn’t mess up the lawn. Neighbors down the street had a company that messed up theiryard, tore down their mailbox, left branches everywhere. We would highly recommend this company!

I had some big oak trees trimmed and 3 smaller cherry trees removed. The whole process from first call, timely visit for estimate, setting up time to come and work done was very professional with attention to detail. The crew arrived on time with several pieces of equipment. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and took many safety measures. When they were finished every twig was raked, picked up and carted off . The concise version of my experience with Miller Tree Service is that they met and exceeded all expectations I had. The two contacts I spoke with (Josh and Daniel) were both professional and delivered on every promise they made. The crew of 8 or 9 guys who performed the tree removal, were extremely impressive, safe, courteous, and careful. Top notch experience all-around and I would definitely recommend their services if you want the job done RIGHT.- Below is a more detailed account of my experience with Miller Tree Service.I reached out to Miller Tree Service for a time-sensitive, large tree removal need. I had a 65 year old, approx. 90-100 ft. tall white, pin oak tree that was dying. The tree was in our front yard, towering over the left side of our home where our bedrooms are located.We noticed about 3 weeks before contacting Miller that the tree had sustained some wind damage and was splitting down the middle, but had not yet become an imminent threat. Should it have split completely, it would have fallen directly on our home, easily doing $100K in damage. The other half would likely have fallen into the street and onto power lines and/or our neighbors house, causing further extensive damage.Prior to contacting Miller, we puttered around with another company who was neither responsive nor timely. In just a two week time frame, the (relatively) tiny crack at the base of the trunk that split into the two larger halves of the tree, split further down the trunk to roughly 3ft. above the ground.I called Miller on Friday, July 31st and spoke to Josh -- I was able to send Josh pictures of the damaged tree, which he immediately relayed to his service manager, Daniel. Josh assured me that Daniel would be out first thing on the morning of Monday, August 3rd to provide a professional opinion and an estimate for removal of the tree.As promised, Daniel arrived on-time Monday morning. Upon seeing the current state of the tree, we both agreed that the tree needed to be removed ASAP. Literally within minutes of agreeing to terms on the cost of removal, Daniel had a crew on-site working as fast as possible to mitigate any potential damage the tree could cause.Daniel was very professional throughout the entire 1-1/2 day process. He did a phenomenal job advising us of what to expect while his crew was on-site, as well as speaking with our neighbors to address and ease their concerns as well. He checked in with me by phone periodically during the first day to provide updates on their progress. He also checked in at the end of the first day to advise us on plans for the second day.During removal of the tree on Monday, Hurricane Isaias was moving in towards the Carolinas and ended up bringing a heavy rainstorm into the area around noon. I cannot understate how quickly and safely this crew of 8 or 9 guys removed the heaviest of branches at the top of the canopy that hung directly over our house, effectively eliminating the immediate threat. As they had already stabilized the tree prior to the thunderstorm, there was no concern that the tree would fall. Due to the thunderstorm, the conditions were unsafe to continue working and had to be resumed the next day. Again, the crew arrived first thing Tuesday morning as promised and dispensed with the rest of the tree. They finished around 1PM and the job was done full-circle -- they removed the logs, branches, and debris, blew off our sidewalk and driveway, and even cut some logs into manageable sizes for us to keep for firewood.I strongly encourage anyone in need of professional tree removal services to reach out to these guys. I have huge tree's in my yard. A limb fell out of one of the tree's. It was bigger than some tree's. It went over 2 driveways. I called Miller's Tree Service and they came out and removed it within about 2 hours. I have used Miller's for several years. They have taken out bushes, small tree's and huge tree's for me. I have always been more than satisfied with the jobs they have done for me and my neighbor's love to come and watch them. They find the big tree remover fascinating.

Miller Tree Service has cut trees down for me in the past. Jake and hiscrew did the work, and you would've never known there were there, because they took all of the mess with them when they left. Today (8/4/20), Daniel came out to look at a couple of trees my next door neighbor and myself were concerned about. My neighbor was convinced they would want to cut down the trees in question. I flat told her Miller Tree service would give us an honest opinion on what to do. I was right, Daniel said all the trees in question were healthy, and he would not cut them. He did suggest we cut the Ivy growing up on a couple of them.You can trust this company. I gave them a 5 star rating, if the scale was 10, I would have given them a 10. Hired Miller to remove two large oak trees in the front yard and close to the house. They removed the trees with surgical percission . The use of their boom cutting head allowed them to remove the trees without putting any vehicles on the lawn. The men were highly experienced and did a fantastic job. Have used Miller Tree Service several times and they have always been great. Now they are even better with a new articulated arm that clamps and cuts limbs at the same time. This device was used this morning to get a downed Bradford Pear which fell on my fence and neighbor's yard. It has such a long reach that keeps trucks out of the yard plus quicker and easier cleanup. We've had a large, dying tree that's been in need of attention as we've been concerned about the safety of our dogs, fence, and house, if it came down on its own. The Miller Tree crew was across the street today working in a neighbor's yard so I called to see if I could get them to at least assess the tree while they were here today. Rick told me Absolutely, go over to the team and ask for Jake and they'd take care of it. I have used Miller three times to remove trees this year that were large and in some pretty tight places. Every time they amazed me and how they do what they do. These guys are the best in the business…Highly recommend!

I had 31 large very tall trees in my yard surrounding my house (100x200 lot). I live in a older subdivision. Miller showed up this past Tuesday June 3, 2018 and had the job complete by 3:10pm June 6, 2018. THEY did one heck of a job for the money they charged me!!!!!! They went over and beyond to make sure everything was clean every day before they left. Prior to me hiring them, I received 3 bids. Miller knocked them out of the ballpark. You want a stable, dependable, and cut to the chase company call Miller they will tell you what you need and help you feel comfortable along the way. I was a nervous wreck about not having any trees.. but I am very happy that I feel the SUN now on my new very LARGE new lawn! Miller tree is also 1800CUTTREE. Some of their client list you can get from them but I know two of them BBT and the CITY of WS. Make sure you add them to your list to get a bid from when getting quotes!! Remember a two/four man crew for a large job isn’t ideal. You need a large company to handle a large volume of trees. Make sure if you go with a smaller company you get a date of completion and their insurance coverage. It takes a smaller crew longer to do a job than a crew like Miller Tree Service!! I know Miller had a very high insurance policy, so make sure you get that from any company doing work at your home. Wish you all the best!!

Miller Tree Service has consistently demonstrated quality work every time they have been to our house. We have had as many as 25-30 trees cut down at a time and by the end of the day, you would never know they were there. Their work and clean up is exceptional and I recommend them to everyone I know that is looking for a tree service.

We had two very large oak trees removed from our property. They were very large trees - 4 and 5 feet in diameter. One of them was not very accessible, having an old stone bench and live tree on one side, branches over our house, and power lines on the other side. Miller Tree Company came out to our house with 3 large vehicles. I was so impressed watching them bring down that tree... limb by limb, and then it was gone. The other tree was already dead and when they dropped it, it disintegrated into a huge mess. They loaded up all they could fit on the trucks and hauled it off. But where I was most impressed was with the clean up. There were four guys, including the owner of the company, working in our yard with rakes. They left the yard way cleaner than I expected after having used a different tree company in the past. Nice, friendly guys, who worked hard, had those huge trees down, and the yard cleaned in 3 hours. I would highly reccommend this company for any tree work you may need done!

Daniel with Miller tree service came to my house to do a small job of trimming a River Birch that was hanging over my house.Said he would be here at 8:30 and showed up at that time as he said he would. In this day of people not returning phone calls and not showing up when they say he shows how to run a business the way it should be done.I'm a small business owner myself and that is what it takes to be successful.Would recommend Miller tree service to do the job to anyone.Also he made the wife happy and thats always a plus.

Today I had Miller tree service come out and remove six trees from a very very tight fenced in backyard. The team that did the work was very professional. They took extra care to try to minimize any damage to my yard from the equipment. I felt the price was reasonable. And the gentleman were very nice when I interacted with him throughout the day. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have tree work done. DJ

Had a couple dead trees, one of which broke during heavy winds. Miller came out within a couple days and had both on the ground. Friendly people, professional and fast. Next time I need some trees down, I know exactly who to call.

Quick and clean! I had a tree fall during the high winds recently. It fell in a precarious location - but they had no problem getting it out! They came out right away and did a fantastic job! These guys are the best!

I want to say that this is the company you want to hire. I had a very small job and wasn’t even sure they would be interested. Daniel came out and had no problem giving an estimate. Jake and his crew are pure artists and true professionals. We had 13 sweet gum trees removed in not the most accessible location. The crew arrived on time (which means early) the day they said they would. They went above and beyond to not damage any other trees or property. To top it off (pun not originally intended) they are meticulous in their clean up!Miller Tree service was extremely competitive with their estimate and didn't charge me a dime more. They truly go above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied.Great company lead by a servant leader.

Miller Tree Service did a superb job! I had them cut and grind stumps on 6 trees in my yard. Two of the trees were huge! They were thoroughly professional during the entire process. They arrived at the time promised, the foreman Daniel walked me thru the entire process before they began, and they went to work. They were very careful not to mar the yard any more than absolutely necessary, they were extremely careful as they trimmed and dropped the trees. They even moved one of my wife's rose bushes and put it back when they were finished. They left the yard in immaculate condition. You could barely tell they were even there! If I ever should need more tree work done, I will definitely call Daniel and his team at Miller Tree. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing any type of tree work done. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!!
